This Year 5 Reasoning Test Practice 1 activity checks pupils’ understanding of reading, writing, ordering and comparing numbers with up to three decimal places, comparing and ordering numbers up to 1,000,000, establishing whether a number up to 100 is prime, and solving problems involving multiplication and division including using their knowledge of factors and multiples. After answering the question, pupils may need to select an appropriate explanation for their answer.
Pupils will order and compare decimal numbers with up to 3 places, find missing numbers, identify prime numbers, find a mystery number using given clues and convert a written number into digits.
